DESCRIPTION:The Spooktacular Celebration is back for the 3rd year in a row! Celebrate Halloween with us at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center with over a dozen food trucks\, live entertainment\, costume contests\, games and activities for the whole family.  \n\n\n\nCostume Contest Sponsored by Northwest Community Bank\n\nCostume Contest winners will be announced at noon\, 2pm and 4pm on stage.\n\nContest categories will be: \n\nBest Family Costume Theme\n\nScariest Costume\n\nFunniest Costume\n\nMost Creative Costume (ex. homemade or unique idea)\n\nThose interested in entering the contest must visit the Northwest Community Bank booth on the field.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCar Decorating Contest Sponsored by Rhino-Back Roofing\n\n	The car decorating contest is open from 11am-4pm\, Oct. 16th and awards are announced at noon\, 2pm and 4pm. \n	You can arrive at the event at any time\, but you must be present at one of the award times (noon\, 2pm or 4pm) to win. \n	Decorated cars will enter the park along with all other attendees via the dirt road at the intersection of Wilcox St and Iron Horse Blvd.  \n	When you get to the park you will be directed to the Car Decorating Contest section of the parking lot instead of the regular parking area. \n	There is no entering or exiting from the main park entrance. \n	Once you park in the contest area\, you will be given a number to put on your dashboard for the contest sponsor to use when judging. \n	Winners will be announced by contestant number on stage at noon\, 2pm and 4pm. \n	There is no set criteria on how your car should be decorated (whole car vs just trunk- all are fine).\n	You should arrive with your car completely or mostly decorated\, but can add finishing touches after parking.\n	Contestants are still responsible for paying admission to the event at the field.\n\nWe can't wait to see what you come up with!!!
