Learn about the nationally-recognized Manufacturing Pipeline Initiative that has successfully unskilled and placed over 1,400 clients into manufacturing careers. This employer-driven program involves dozens of partners working together to ensure that our region can fill the hundreds of manufacturing jobs being created annually by the defense industry led by General Dynamics Electric Boat. In essence, the MPI has become the recruiting arm of the manufacturing supply chain in southeastern CT and is now being replicated across the state and beyond.
