Rise above it all (literally). Join us for a Valley EntreprenHERS gathering with a twist: aerial yoga.Participating is completely optional! Come try the hammock, or come watch, nibble, and cheer on your fellow EntreprenHERS. Either way, it's a fun night of connection.
Aerial yoga uses a suspended fabric hammock to complement your practice. The hammock offers more support in some positions while making others more challenging, and it allows for gentle decompression of the spine and offloading of the joints. Classes are appropriate for beginners, as modifications and alternatives are available for every pose.
WHAT TO WEAR
Comfortable clothing, similar to what you'd wear to a regular yoga class. No zippers or hardware that could catch on the fabric, and armpits covered is preferred.MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Wynee has been an aerialist for over 15 years. She discovered the aerial arts while trying a class on a whim, and she's been hooked ever since. With more than a decade of teaching experience, she brings a strong foundation in dance and gymnastics, skills that translate seamlessly to aerial training. She became a certified yoga instructor in 2026 and added aerial yoga to her repertoire.Wynee purchased Connecticut Aerial Yoga in June 2026, and she's thrilled to share her love for movement with the Simsbury community. Beyond the studio, she's also a physician, photographer, and mother to two small human beings and many plants.
