Granby-Simsbury Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
The Chamber Memorial Award honors the lives of esteemed Chamber members who have passed. The honorees have dedicated time and energy to the Chamber over years and leave our Community in a better place from their invaluable contributions. With the memories of both these members in mind, we look to award a student who personifies their love of life, community and local involvement.
Robert (Bob) Thompson 1941 – 2023
Bob served on many Boards and committees and was passionate about supporting local businesses and organizations that served to make Simsbury an amazing place to live and work.
Tim Pusch 1952 – 2020
Tim served on the Chamber Board of Directors and was such a positive influence on the community. Tim was especially supportive of youth athletics and volunteerism.
