About Us
CREATE Independence INC is a non profit life skills program offering individuals with disabilities the opportunity to engage in meaningful daily living skills, home and health management, social participation, prevocational and vocational skills, health and wellness and leisure in Connecticut. The program is guided by the belief that all individuals have an innate need and a right to participate in meaningful activities that support and give purpose to participation in life. CREATE Independence is addressing the needs of the increasing number of adolescents and young adults who require additional support in daily living skills, education, work, leisure, and social participation. The structure of this program meets the needs of individuals and caregivers who are seeking greater independence for everyday living.
