    Owner/chef Tyler Anderson, a classically trained chef, recent James Beard semi-finalist and participant on several Food Network episodes, draws on a foundation of age-old French cooking techniques supporting historic New England cuisine, such as the practice of roasting vegetables in salt over a wood fire. Pickling, preserving and canning summer’s fresh bounty ensures locally-grown foods for winter’s use and again honors the region’s food practices. Owner/Chef Tyler Anderson leads a team of professionals passionate about food, service and making their guests feel welcome. Millwright’s Restaurant and 1680 Tavern offers fine dining, tavern fare, and private, corporate, wedding and social events.
